Playground Games is looking for a Graduate Environment Artists to join our Forza team


As a first-party Xbox Game Studio, we are passionate about making genre-defining games that are accessible, beautiful, and, most of all, fun.


As an important junior member of the team, you’ll be responsible for creating consistently high quality environment art, developing your own skills and raising the bar for environment content in our titles. You’ll work closely with the senior art team and internal stakeholders so the ability to communicate effectively is very important.


You’ll have a strong personal portfolio of work demonstrating one of more of the following:

  • Hard surface modelling and texturing
  • Man-made and organic PBR material creation
  • Organic asset creation such as foliage and geology
  • Scene composition and story telling
  • Terrain sculpting and texturing
  • Procedural workflows
  • Photogrammetry capture, clean-up and use in asset creation

Your work should make use of real-world reference and/or concept art to drive your examples

You should be a self-motivated team player, with good communication skills and a p assion for playing games
