Your Mission

As a Senior U I Artist you will join Sledgehammer’s G lobal UIX team tasked with crafting the U ser Interface of our titles across in-game systems and the front-end , from pre-production through to shipping .

You will be creating U I art for multiple features as well as being responsible for ensuring interface s are implement ed to AAA standards .

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Work ing with the U I Lead and Artist to create e xceptional user interfaces throughout the game.
  • Work ing on the art style of the interface .
  • Creat e high-quality assets, icon ography and visual targets.
  • Working closely with designers and engineers to deliver the best possible user interface while staying within technical and aesthetic requirements.
  • Tak ing an active role in implementation and feature delivery .
  • Tak ing an active role in refining the UI art development process , tools and pipeline .

Player Profile

  • 5+ years of practical experience in the field of UI/UX .
  • Passionate about being an individual contributor , helping to shape the vision and deliver assets
  • Exceptional interface art and graphic design skills .
  • Capable of adapting to a range of art styles and techniques .
  • E xperience in motion graphics and animation .
  • Is proactive in seeking feedback from peers and leads . Supports others to do the same.
  • Proficiency in Figma , Photoshop and Illustrator .
  • Proactively manages and communicates their workload to production and leads .

Extra Points

  • Proficiency in User Experience design .
  • Deep understanding of games is a requirement but experience working on games is not .
  • Has created UI for at least one shipped AAA product .
  • A clear portfolio of work that demonstrates previous projects and personal values .
