Peace. NuChallenger is looking for one or two Concept Artists to help design and establish our characters and environments for an exciting new project. We can’t say much more than it’s a 3D stylized boxing (the sport) narrative game. The style will be heavily inspired by graffiti, Harlem Renaissance, and specific artist styles including Kerry James Marshall and Faith Ringgold. We’re looking for someone who can do characters and environments, or we’re open to splitting the roles.
This role is for pre-production work and is a limited time contract, but based on performance and need this could potentially turn into a full project role. NuChallenger is a distributed studio, so everyone is remote.
This is a remote contract position aiming for 32 hours a week (with a possible need for 40 on some weeks) at an hourly rate of $30-$40 USD based on experience. We intend this to be between a 3-6 month position, but this could become a fulltime role.
